Library of Congress Catalog Card Number: The Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is an identification control number that the Library of Congress assigns to the catalog record created for each book. Librarians use this number to order books for their libraries. The Library of Congress Catalog Card Number is usually printed on the Copyright page of the book. Copyright: Copyright is protection provided by the laws of the United States for the exclusive right to reproduce and sell a literary, artistic and/or musical work.
